Kendall Jenner seemingly wants to protect new man Blake Griffin from potential harms, including her own family. OK! reports that the model warns the NBA pro to avoid the Kardashian-Jenner at all cost.

According to a source, Blake has "been invited over to Kris' [Kris Jenner] for dinner numerous times." However, Kendall has "told him to ignore the invites and keep away."

But Blake is concerned with Kendall's request to ignore her family. "Blake worries he's being rude," explained the source. But the Los Angeles Clippers star opted to ultimately trust Kendall's judgement "because the last thing he wants is to be cursed like Caitlyn Jenner, Lamar Odom and so many others."

While Kendall and Blake are enjoying their newly-blossomed romance, Blake's friends allegedly are not loving the idea of Blake being together with the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star. "[Blake's] friends don't think much of Kendall, who they see as stuck up and annoying," dished the source.

His friends' opinions don't stop Blake from pursuing his love though, as he recently jetted off to New York for his rumored lady, who is walking runways for New York Fashion Week. Donning an oversized sweater dress, Kendall was seen having dinner at Carbone with the baller, who rocked ripped jeans and a striped, long-sleeved shirt. Their romantic date night didn't stop there as the pair later continued their date by watching new horror movie "It" at a nearby movie theater.

Previous report said that Kendall "loves what amazing shape Blake is in and finds him to be sexy as hell," as well as suggested that "Kendall and Blake just clicked immediately, there was a huge mutual attraction." The source added, "Right now they're spending all their free time together and seeing where things go, but Kendall is super into Blake, more so than I've ever known her to be. It's early days but this is looking like the real deal and could get very serious very fast."
