Kevin is at the crossroads and there's a tension between Randall and Beth as they're considering an adoption.

AceShowbiz - With only less than two weeks remaining before the return of "This Is Us", a new sneak peek of season 2 has been released in the form of featurette. Making its way out via E! News, it shares some fresh scenes from the upcoming season.

The second season will pick up "the very next morning" after Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca's (Mandy Moore) huge fight in season 1 finale. "There's change afoot," Ventimiglia says. "You see the good, you see the bad, you see it all starting to come together, or you see it all really go the other way and fall completely apart."

In the present days, Kevin (Justin Hartley) is at the crossroads as he's forced to choose between his career and Sophie (Alexandra Breckenridge). Things also don't look good for Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) as they can't agree about his idea for an adoption.

On the other hand, the romance between Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby (Chris Sullivan) is heating up as they now have moved in together.

In the video, the cast also reflects on how people received the show. "I didn't even realize what the title of the show meant until I got into a dialogue with the audience," Sullivan says, "That 'we watch the show, and we sit on the couch and we're like, 'Yeah, this is us. This is our family. This is my father, this is my sister, this is me. This is us.' "

"This Is Us" season 2 kicks off on Tuesday, September 26 at 9 P.M. on NBC.

Sylvester Stallone will guest star as himself, playing Kevin's co-star in a fictional wartime movie directed by Ron Howard, who will also play himself. Series creator Dan Fogelman previously teased Sly's "big part" in the storyline, saying that Sylvester "hears what Kevin is experiencing in his life with his own father, and talks to Kevin a little bit about life and acting and memory and aging."

Other guest stars booked for the second season of the Emmy-nominated series are Katie Couric, Katey Sagal, Brad Garrett, Seth Meyers, Jimmi Simpson and Elizabeth Perkins.
