The rock band's first effort in seven years reigns on the chart, while Imagine Dragons, Logic, SZA and Ed Sheeran return to the top 10.

AceShowbiz - LCD Soundsystem nabs their first No. 1 album on Billboard 200 as their latest effort "American Dream" lands atop the chart. The set earned 85,000 equivalent album units, including 81,000 in traditional album sales, in the week ending September 7, according to Nielsen Music. The sum was greatly fueled by the concert ticket/album bundle sale promotion for the group's upcoming tour.

Making its way out via Columbia Records, "American Dream" marks the rock band's first album in more than seven years. They last released a studio effort in 2010, when "This Is Happening" debuted at No. 10 on the list.

Lil Uzi Vert's "Luv Is Rage 2" slips to No. 2 in its second week with 73,000 units, while XXXTENTACION's "17" dips one slot to No. 3 with 51,000 units. Kendrick Lamar's "DAMN." climbs one slot to No. 4 with 40,000 units.

Trailing behind "DAMN." is Khalid's "American Teen", which blasts to No. 5 with 33,000 units. Imagine Dragons' "Evolve" returns to the top 10 as it ascends from No. 12 to No. 6 with 31,000 units. Meanwhile, Kodak Black's "Project Baby 2" climbs to No. 7 with 30,000 units.

Logic's "Everybody" zooms to No. 8 with 29,000 units following the rapper's performance of "1-800-273-8255" at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. Rounding out this week's top 10 are SZA's "Ctrl", which rises to No. 9 with a little more than 26,000 units, and Ed Sheeran's "Divide (division sign)", which moves up three spots to No. 10 with 26,000 units.
