Releasing music is the songstress' second priority as she wants to spend more time with her boyfriend before he hits the road again for an extensive tour.

AceShowbiz - Sorry, Selenators! Selena Gomez's new music is not coming any time soon. The songstress is currently busy being in love that she barely has time to hit the studio. Fans who expect Selena to release the follow-up to "Revival" have to wait a little longer as the former Disney darling is focusing more on spending time with her boo The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye.

"Selena is totally in love with The Weeknd and has made following her heart her number one priority," a source tells HollywoodLife.com. "Selena has delayed the release of her new album so that she can spend more time loving and caring for Weeknd, who is gearing up to get back on the road."

Selena's last release was her Gucci Mane-assisted track, "Fetish". The song was released in July. "Selena only wants to spend time with Abel before she starts shooting her next film, so she has put creating more music on hold, as well as having to travel in support of a new album," the source explains.

Selena and The Weeknd have been spending a lot of time together in the past few weeks. On August 11, the lovebirds were seen watching a comedy show together at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood. A few days later, the Canadian singer took to Instagram Stories to share a photo of him and his girlfriend cuddling and getting cozy at home.

The two were recently pictured sharing a warm embrace during a fun trip to Disneyland. They held hands and enjoyed some treats in the Happiest Place on Earth, including a private VIP tour. In the following day, Selena was seen clasping her arms around the "Starboy" hitmaker and sweetly kissing his shoulder as they were leaving a grocery store.

The Weeknd just wrapped up phase one of his tour in support of "Starboy" in July. He will kick off the second phase of the tour on September 6 in University Park. Supported by Nav and special guests Gucci Mane and French Montana on some dates, the extensive trek is set to conclude on December 14 in Perth, Australia.
