Justin Bieber After Learning Lil Wayne's Seizure News: 'I Gotta Reach Out to Him'

'Man, I didn't know. That's my boy. I'm going to have to reach out to him,' the 'Sorry' hitmaker said when he discovered that the 'No Frauds' rapper was hospitalized.
Justin Bieber appeared to be unaware of the news that Lil Wayne, whom he recently collaborated with on DJ Khaled's "I'm the One", suffered multiple seizures over the weekend. TMZ broke the news to the "Love Yourself" singer on Monday evening, September 4, and the Canadian hunk was visibly floored by the news.

"Oh, really? Damn," the global star responded when a photographer told him the news outside Mastro's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills. He continued saying, "Man, I didn't know. That's my boy. I'm going to have to reach out to him."

The "Sucker for Pain" spitter was rushed to hospital in Chicago after suffering multiple seizures. The 34-year-old rapper was found unconscious in his Westin Hotel room on Michigan Avenue on Sunday afternoon, September 3.

Reginae Carter, Lil's daughter with ex-wife Antonia Wright, later took to Twitter to give an update on his dad's condition. "My dad is doing fine everyone! Thanks for the concerns. You guys are amazing," she wrote. In a separate tweet, she added, "Oh yeah… and don't believe everything you hear." She was probably referring to rumors claiming that Lil suffered seizures due to drugs.

Seeing how Justin was seriously worried about Lil, it seemed like the singer was not completely cutting everyone out of his life. Previous reports suggested that the 23-year-old singer had his friends and family worried after he was not returning people's phone calls following his tour cancellation.

The singer also unfollowed his one-time friend Floyd Mayweather, Jr. on Instagram after the folks at Hillsong Church allegedly urged Justin to cut people off. Floyd reportedly went "insane, nuclear" after knowing that Justin unfollowed him on the photo-sharing platform. He went as far as calling the singer "traitor."
