The 'Sucker for Pain' spitter was hospitalized after he suffered multiple seizures and his Las Vegas show has been canceled, his rep confirms.

AceShowbiz - Lil Wayne was rushed to hospital in Chicago after suffering multiple seizures. According to a new TMZ report, the 34-year-old rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., was found unconscious in his Westin Hotel room on Michigan Avenue on Sunday afternoon, September 3.

Multiple sources tell the site that Wayne was taken to Northwestern Hospital after suffering at least one seizure, before his rep confirms that the "Sucker for Pain" spitter suffered multiple seizures prior to falling unconscious. He experienced another seizure upon arriving at the hospital.

The New Orleans hip-hop star has long suffered from epileptic disorder and has been hospitalized several times in recent years, including a six-day stay back in 2013 and after an incident on a cross-country flight in 2016 that prompted him to cancel an appearance in Las Vegas.

Wayne previously opened up about his epilepsy, which causes recurring seizures. "No warning, no nothing, I don't feel sick. I get headaches real bad. And the headaches? I didn't get no headaches or nothing," he said on MTV's "RapFix Live", adding that he doesn't remember the episodes after they happen.

The "No Frauds" rapper, who is currently on tour with Rae Sremmurd, was scheduled to perform at Drai's Nightclub in Las Vegas on Sunday night. Wayne's rep confirms to TMZ that the rapper is currently resting and his show has been canceled. It is still unclear when Wayne will be discharged.

Sources tell the site that the rapper's team tried to have him discharged late Sunday afternoon so he could make it to his Vegas show. However, doctors advised against the discharge, saying that the rapper should be grounded for a few days. As Wayne has suffered seizures while flying before, the doctors felt it was too risky for him to leave the hospital with his current condition.
