AceShowbiz - %cCheryl Burke% is ready to compete for another shot at winning Mirrorball Trophy. The 33-year-old has confirmed on Instagram that she will return as a pro dancer in the upcoming 25th season of "Dancing with the Stars".
"Guess who's back in the ballroom?! So excited to share that I'm officially back for my 20th season of Dancing With the Stars!" she posted on the photo-sharing site Monday, September 4. "This dance floor will always be my home and I've got my eyes on that mirror ball #bringonthespraytans #dwts."
Cheryl is joining twelve other pros that were announced last week. They are %cPeta Murgatroyd%, %cMaksim Chmerkovskiy%, %cMark Ballas%, %cEmma Slater%, %cLindsay Arnold%, %cWitney Carson%, %cValentin Chmerkovskiy%, %cArtem Chigvintsev%, %cKeo Motsepe%, %cGleb Savchenko%, %cSharna Burgess% and %cAlan Bersten%.
Cheryl first joined "DWTS" in its second season, during which she was paired with %cDrew Lachey% and won the Mirrorball Trophy. She won her second Mirrorball Trophy in season 3 with %cEmmitt Smith% as her partner. She last competed on the show in season 23 with %cRyan Lochte% and ended up placing seventh.
Cheryl announced her departure from "DWTS" season 24 when she was tapped to join "Dance Moms" to replace longtime instructor %cAbby Lee Miller%.
Appearing on "Good Morning America" to talk about her return to the dancing competition series, she said the level of competition and the creativity in dances has changed since the first time she danced on the show. "I couldn't do any of the routines I used to do back in season[s] 2 and 3," she said, adding, "Season 25 is going to just be bigger than ever."
Asked about her celebrity partner, she coyly answered, "He's a guy." "Property Brothers" star %cDrew Scott% is the only celebrity confirmed to participate in the competition so far. Rumored contestants include %cNick Lachey% and wife Vanessa Lachey (%cVanessa Minnillo%), "Total Divas" star %cNikki Bella%, %cDerek Fisher%, %cJordan Fisher% and %cFrankie Muniz%.
