AceShowbiz - "The Voice" has released a fun and retro promo for its upcoming season 13. The newly-released promo finds the singing competition's chart-topping coaches, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson, acting as fierce cops in fictional 1970 shows.
The fun promo features each coach getting their own title card and '70s action show character trope, successfully making us walk down the memory lane. Driving a vintage muscle car, Adam, who dons a shaggy '70s hairdo, opens the promo. The Maroon 5 frontman crashes onto a window, before striking a cool pose. Blake, meanwhile, is a master of disguise who knocks down some guys. He still has a clumsy side on him though as he punches Adam on his face by accident.
Miley is doing all crazy actions, including sitting on top of a moving car and showing off her kung fu skill in denim jumpsuit. Newcomer JHud lets her enemies know that she knows her way around some nunchucks. Host Carson Daly also makes a hilarious appearance in the video as he is introduced as the bumbling mechanic named Lug Nut.
At some point, Miley and JHud are seen joining forces as they spy on someone. They make sure that their existence stays undetected as they hide around bushes while holding binoculars. "It's a crime for one squad to be this talented. #TheVoice returns September 25 on @nbc," the official Twitter account of the show captions the video.
Miley, who previously served as one of the coaches in season 11, brings along her father Billy Ray Cyrus as advisor for her team in the upcoming season 13. Fellow coach Adam nabs Joe Jonas as the advisor for his team.
Also set to be advisors in season 13 of "The Voice" are Rascal Flatts and Kelly Rowland. The country music trio unsurprisingly will assist Blake. Meanwhile, the "Kisses Down Low" songtress will serve as advisor for Jennifer's team.
