The 'Modern Family' actress reportedly parts ways with her actor boyfriend after dating him for more than two years.

Sarah Hyland is reportedly single again. The 26-year-old actress has called it quits with her 27-year-old actor boyfriend Dominic Sherwood, a close friend to the former couple reveals to Entertainment Tonight. The insider says their relationship "has simply run its course," but they break up on amicable terms and will remain friends.
Hyland and Sherwood split after two years of dating. They celebrated their anniversary in February. "Happy 2 year to my #1 @domsherwood," she wrote on Instagram back then. After their anniversary, he gushed about the actress in an interview, "Sarah makes me want to be a better version of myself. That's what I love most about her. She inspires me to be the best version of me."
It's unclear when exactly they split, but he hasn't shared a picture of her since April and she last posted a photo of him in May. Still, he had nothing but good words for her when interviewed in July, "As the public knows, Sarah's going through quite a bit at the moment. For anyone to be small-minded enough to try and close her into a space that they don't understand is ridiculous. The way she deals with it is incredible."
The pair first met on the set of 2014's teen movie "Vampire Academy". They have since appeared on each other's TV shows. She guest starred on his supernatural drama series "Shadowhunters" and he appeared in one episode on her popular sitcom "Modern Family".
Hyland played Seelie Queen on Sherwood's show. It's unclear if her character will return for the next season, but he recently sang praise for her, "Everyone fell in love with her on set. It was a real joy ... She's been coming in since season one, coming to visit me. Having her on set as an actress was just phenomenal."
