The 'Late Late Show' host sings this summer's headlines, from Donald Trump's controversial comments on Charlottesville riot to the hiring and firing of Anthony Scaramucci.

AceShowbiz - Gearing up to welcome fall, James Corden summarized the summer of 2017 by doing what he did best after making jokes, which is singing. The British comedian turned Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's hit "Despacito" into the Song of the Summer, changing the lyrics to include as many headlines as possible.

"Donald Trump make comments that brought him shame/ kept saying that both sides are to blame/ after denouncing Neo-Nazis slowly, slowly," he sang in the Wednesday, August 16 episode of "The Late Late Show with James Corden". Corden also poked fun at the hiring and firing of the White House staff.

Picking up on pop culture, he asked, "Why did the Bachelorette end up choosing Bryan?" He continued, "Beyonce gave birth to twins from her belly/ Sir and Rumi." Corden didn't forget to mention Christopher Nolan's hit World War II movie "Dunkirk".

"Will or won't Rihanna have a child/ Is she pregnant with a bay-bay," the "Into the Woods" star wondered, just like many curious fans are. "Why wasn't Wonder Woman paid more." Anna Faris and Chris Pratt's split, the fidget spinner trend, O.J. Simpson's impending release from prison, and the "Game of Thrones" leaks are among other things he sang about.

The Song of the Summer segment is just one of Corden's ways to show his interest in music. He recently teamed up with Jeffrey Tambor to parody Brandy and Monica's "The Boy Is Mine" music video, with John Boyega starring as the man they're fighting over.

He also periodically features "Carpool Karaoke" on his late-night talk show, enlisting different celebrity every time to sing his/her hit songs during a ride with him. The segment has been turned into an Apple Music series which was launched August 8.
