Emma Roberts is joining "Cult". The actress is returning for the upcoming season of "American Horror Story". Co-creator Ryan Murphy announced the good news on Instagram by sharing a photo of Roberts on the set of the show.
She wore a trench coat on top of a white dress and held a knife. "Look who showed up on the set of Cult looking glamorous and ready for action," Murphy captioned it. Roberts reposted the picture on her own account and wrote, "I've joined #ahscult will you?"
There's no word on what role Roberts will take in the seventh season. She starred in the third season "Coven" as Madison Montgomery, and the fourth season "Freak Show" as Maggie. She later starred in two seasons of Murphy's comedy thriller "Scream Queens" on FOX.
Roberts will reunite with her real-life boyfriend Evan Peters as well as other returning stars, including Sarah Paulson, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, Frances Conroy and Mare Winningham. Other actors confirmed for the new season are Billie Lourd, Colton Haynes, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Alison Pill and Lena Dunham.
The seventh season of "AHS" will premiere September 5 on FX.
