AceShowbiz - Fifth Harmony is going to release their first album as a foursome sooner than we think. After releasing a single called "Down" featuring Gucci Mane last month to precede the new effort, the group has now announced the release date of their upcoming self-titled album during their first-ever appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon".
"Their new album is self-titled!" Jimmy Fallon gushed. "That's right! It is called 'Fifth Harmony' and it is out August 25th." The group then took the stage to deliver a somber yet electrifying performance of "Down" with Guwop.
Fifth Harmony later took to their official Instagram account to share the good news with their fans. "#FifthHarmony 8.25," so they simply wrote. Fans quickly expressed their excitement in the comment section. "I'm ready! Ballads, vocals, harmonies, adlibs. Bring it on!" a fan gushed, while another couldn't seem to wait another day for the release, writing, "Literally take all my money idc."
"Fifth Harmony" will mark the quartet's first album since the departure of Camila Cabello. Although the group now only has four members, Ally Brooke, Lauren Jauregui, Normani Kordei and Dinah Jane Hansen will stick to Fifth Harmony as it has become their brand. "Fifth Harmony is the name we grew up with and we worked for and it's our brand," Lauren previously said. "It's who we are. It's our entire moments. It's what we spent five years on."
