Aaron Carter Slams Nick for 'Supportive' Tweet Following His Arrest: 'That's Not Cool At All'

The 29-year-old singer feels offended and says, 'If my own blood [Nick] truly cared about my well-being, why wouldn't he call me directly and have a conversation?'

AceShowbiz - Aaron Carter spoke up regarding his arrest, and he wasn't impressed by Nick Carter's kind words on Twitter. The former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant criticized his brother for only showing his concern on the mirco-blogging site instead of contacting him directly.

The "Crazy Little Party Girl" crooner claimed that Nick was using him. "If my own blood [Nick] truly cared about my well-being, why wouldn't he call me directly and have a conversation instead of making this about him through a very public forum?" Aaron told ET. "That's not cool at all to use me for his PR and kick me while I am down."

Nick previously tweeted, "To my brother: I love u no matter what & if u feel the need to reach for help, I am here and willing to help you get better." He continued, "Family isn't always easy,be we're all here for you."

Aaron and his girlfriend Madison Parker were arrested ahead of his concert in Kansas City. He was charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of drug related objects. As a result, Aaron had to cancel his concert.

"Aaron holds a medical license for medical marijuana for his long standing anxiety," his rep later stated. "The video from Auto Zone will prove that Aaron was not in a moving vehicle while arrested and charged with a DUI. He feels his 'celebrity' was targeted and an attorney will be retained in this matter."

"Aaron and girlfriend Madison are continuing their travels and deeply apologize for any inconvenience this legal matter may have caused his fans along the tour dates he has not been able to make," the rep went on saying. "Lost dates will be made up. His next stop will be in Alabama as scheduled Tuesday, July 18, 2017."
