Cristiano Ronaldo makes a huge amount of money for each Instagram post, a new report claims. The 32-year-old soccer player, who has more than 106 million online devotees, allegedly earns £310,000 for each snap he posts on the photo-sharing platform.
A study by Instagram schedulers Hopper puts Ronaldo third in their top-10 earners list, behind only singer Selena Gomez (£425,000 per post) and reality TV star Kim Kardashian (£387,000 per post). The Real Madrid star is an active user on Instagram, regularly adding multiple images each day.
Hopper says that every time Ronaldo does so, he adds "a significant chunk to his already considerable riches." He's one of only two athletes in the top 10. Basketball legend LeBron James places 10th in the list, with each of his posts apparently earning him £93,000.
Ronaldo and James are also the only men on the list, with famous family the Kardashians dominating. Aside from Kim, Kylie Jenner (£310,000 per post), Kendall Jenner (£286,000 per post), Khloe Kardashian (£193,000 per post) and Kourtney Kardashian (£193,000 per post) all occupy places in the top seven. Rounding out the list are models Cara Delevingne (£116,000 per post) and Gigi Hadid (£93,000 per post).
