Wedding bells are apparently on the way for Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez. According to a source, the former professional baseball player popped the question to the "Ain't Your Mama" hitmaker during their recent trip to Paris.

"[Alex] got down on one knee and asked J.Lo to marry him," the source tells Life & Style, "J.Lo burst into tears and said yes!" He had originally planned on proposing underneath the Eiffel Tower, but he canceled it in order to keep their engagement under wraps.

The source says, "He ended up proposing to her in the privacy of there presidential suite at the luxurious Le Meurice hotel. It was the perfect romantic setting to pop the question. A-Rod has been telling J.Lo almost from the start that she's the one."

According to the source, J.Lo was totally surprised and completely caught off guard. She couldn't be more excited with her upcoming nuptials. "She's crazy about A-Rod and loves everything about him," adds the source.

This will be J.Lo's fourth marriage and Alex's second. J.Lo shares nine-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Alex shares daughters Natasha, 12, and Ella, 8, with his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis.
