Steve's daughter engagement may provide happiness amid several scandals he is currently facing. Last month, he was sued by his ex-wife, Mary Shackelford, who claimed that she had been mentally ill following their divorce in 2005. Prior to the lawsuit, the comedian received backlashes over a leaked memo, in which he banned his staff to talk to him without appointment. Steve defended himself by saying that he just wanted some "freedom."
