AceShowbiz - The news that %cRyan Seacrest% signed up for the co-hosting gig on "Live" with %cKelly Ripa% leaves %cKris Jenner% in panic. The 61-year-old matriarch is reportedly terrified that Ryan, the longtime producer of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians", will abandon the show as he moves to New York City for his new show.
"Of course Kris is scared," a source close to the famous family tells Radar Online. Kris' fear is somehow understandable since Ryan is almost the only one responsible for giving her a spot on E! for the long-running reality show, which is based in Los Angeles. However, now, the 42-year-old radio personality is commuting between the coast for "Live", which is based in NYC, and has to film the show at least four episodes a week.
In addition, recent ratings of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" are not helping cast away her worries. "More and more viewers are tuning out every week and at this point it looks like the end is inevitable," the source tells the site.
Citing the source, the site explains that the whole family is putting the blame for the plummet ratings on %cKim Kardashian%, who changes her image post Paris robbery. "Some of them are saying that she is trying to sabotage 'KUWTK'," the insider further reveals.
It's not impossible that Kim does plan to sabotage the show, though, since according to the same source, "Kim's heart just doesn't seem in it anymore and it's almost like she really does not care what happens to the rest of the family." The source adds that Kim has nothing to worry should the show meets its end "because she has made her money!"
Even if "KUWTK" ends, the Kardashians will still be appearing on other shows as %cBlac Chyna% and %cRob Kardashian%'s spin-off "Rob & Chyna" is slated to have a sophomore season. %cKylie Jenner%'s new spin-off "Life of Kylie", meanwhile, is currently filming.
