The CW has finally offered an official glimpse of the long-awaited "The Flash" / "Supergirl" musical crossover. In a sneak peek for the episode titled "Duet", Barry (Grant Gustin) and Kara (Melissa Benoist) dance on stage in an alternate reality. A vintage car and classic outfits hint that it is set in 1980s.

The musical crossover begins in a "Supergirl" episode which is slated to air on Monday, March 20. "Star-Crossed" will feature guest stars Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo. According to the official synopsis, "A new villain (Hatcher) comes to National City, putting Supergirl on high alert. Meanwhile, Winn's (Jeremy Jordan) girlfriend, Lyra (guest star Tamzin Merchant), gets Winn in trouble with the law. Maggie (guest star Floriana Lima) attempts to help Winn but old loyalties get in the way. The Music Meister (Darren Criss) attacks Supergirl."

It will be followed by "The Flash" episode titled "Duet", set to air on Tuesday, March 21. "Barry and team are surprised when Mon-El (guest star Chris Wood) and Hank Henshaw (guest star David Harewood) arrive on their Earth carrying a comatose Supergirl who was whammied by the Music Meister. Unable to wake her up, they turn to Team Flash to save her. However, the Music Meister surprises The Flash and puts him in a similar coma, one that Team Flash can't cure. Kara and Barry wake up without their powers in an alternate reality where life is like a musical and the only way to escape is by following the script, complete with singing and dancing, to the end."

"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" stars Victor Garber and John Barrowman are also slated to appear in the musical crossover. "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" star Rachel Bloom and lyricists from Oscar-winning flick "La La Land", Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, penned songs which are featured in the special.
