Behati Prinsloo has made a grand return to the runway, just five months after welcoming daughter Dusty Rose with singer husband Adam Levine. After more than a year off the runway, the 27-year-old supermodel made her catwalk comeback as she modeled Versace's Fall 2017 collection during Milan Fashion Week.
Behati wowed fans by flaunting her incredible post-baby body in a navy mini dress that featured eye-catching orange belt and zip detail. She covered her slender figure in a shearling navy-and-bright orange knee-length coat. She showed off her fierce gaze as she walked down the runway in a pair of matching heels.
Proud husband Adam took to Instagram to praise the Victoria's Secret model. Sharing a photo of his stunning wife hitting the runway at the Friday, February 24 show, the Maroon 5 frontman captioned it with "@behatiprinsloo Taking 'I'm a cool mom' to a whole new level," adding the hashtag, "#youresocoolyouresocoolyouresocool."
While backstage, Behati revealed to Vogue that choosing Versace as her first post-pregnancy fashion show was no accident. She made her last catwalk appearance for the brand over a year ago, when she was five weeks pregnant.
"I was five weeks pregnant and no one knew," she said, revealing that talks for the Friday show began a month ago. "I wasn't sure if I could pull it together," she shared. "Pregnancy was such a nice break for me, it was so fun. But it's also nice to slowly get back," adding, "I feel ready."
"I was a little nervous, thinking, so, I still know how to walk - I mean, what is it, it's walking," she recalled. "But I was excited to come back and see all the girls again and still feel like, you know, I can be independent, I can still do it. To kind of prove something to myself, I think."
She was happy to return to the runway, but she admitted that she couldn't wait to get back to her daughter soon. "[I'm] literally in and out, so I'm not away from her for too long...What I'm focused on now is to be a good mom," she said. "Everything shifts."
