Caitlyn Jenner has been exploring legal options against Kris Jenner over lost earnings. According to an insider, the "I Am Cait" star recently found out that her ex-wife's freezing her out of family earnings to which she believes she's entitled.

"Cait's not been paid much, if anything, for her appearances on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' and other commercial projects she's attached her name to via Kris," the insider tells Radar Online, "And every time she tries to stand up for herself she’s met with an excuse."

Caitlyn found out that she wasn't very successful after leaving "KUWTK" and her own docu-series "I Am Cait" was canceled. The former Olympian then tried her hand as an author by releasing a memoir titled "The Secrets of My Life".

The insider shares, "Cait needs the cash and calculates she's hundreds of thousands if not millions out of pocket because Kris has effectively cut her commission by three quarters. On top of that she's got legal fees that need paying, which she expects Kris to pay in full once they mediate, or she will go to court and have it out in public."
