The 'Hamilton' actor and creator proves himself as 'The West Wing' biggest fan by writing rap lyrics about the drama series.

"Hamilton" actor and creator Lin-Manuel Miranda is a huge fan of political drama series "The West Wing". But he takes fanboying to another level by writing and releasing a rap song as a tribute to the series

Miranda released the song titled "What's Next?" on Monday, January 16. The song was a collaboration between Miranda and The West Wing Weekly Podcast.

Miranda can be heard rapping through the song and mentioning famous characters from the drama series, including Mrs. Landingham (Kathryn Joosten), Nancy McNally (Anna Deavere Smith) and Admiral Fitzwallace (John Amos), while sampling some of President Josiah Bartlet's (Martin Sheen) original dialogues in the chorus.

Miranda also added the catchy catchphrase from the series, "What's Next?" to the approximately 90-second clip as it can be heard repeatedly from the beginning until the end of the song.

"The West Wing" is a drama series created by Aaron Sorkin which ran from 1999 to 2006. The series was about the portrayal of many positions involved in the daily work of the federal government. This show was very successful as it won three Golden Globe Awards and 26 Emmy Awards, despite having payment problem to the actors. The payment problem caused its star Rob Lowe to leave the series in its fourth season as he didn't get a salary increase.
