Following recent confirmation that Deadpool wouldn't appear in "Logan", Ryan Reynolds says that he still wants the Merc with a Mouth to share screen with the clawed mutant. The Canadian actor took to Twitter on Thursday, December 29 to reveal that he would love to see the two powerful mutants in one movie.

Responding to a question from Ryan Parker of The Hollywood Reporter, Reynolds said, "I want a Deadpool/Wolvie film." According to the 40-year-old actor, " 'Logan' is its own unique & perfect thing," before adding, "The Big Red S**t-Talker wouldn't mix with the tone."

"Logan" is coming to U.S. theaters on March 3, 2017. Directed by James Mangold, it sees the return of Hugh Jackman as the clawed mutant and Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier a.k.a. Professor X. Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook and Stephen Merchant are also among the cast members, portraying Laura Kinney/X-23, Donald Pierce and Caliban respectively.

It remains to be seen whether a crossover movie featuring Deadpool and Logan will happen. Before that, Reynolds will reprise his role as the red-suited antihero, whose alter ego is Wade Winston Wilson, in "Deadpool 2". "John Wick" co-helmer David Leitch took over the helming duty after Tim Miller's departure.
