AceShowbiz - Coldplay singer Chris Martin stopped by London's Crisis at Christmas homeless shelter this week to play a surprise performance. He decided to pay tribute to late singer George Michael by singing Wham!'s holiday classic "Last Christmas".

On Thursday, December 29, Crisis posted on Facebook a video of Martin's performance. "A huge thank you to Coldplay's Chris Martin for dropping by our Crisis at Christmas centres and entertaining our guests!" the post read, "Here he is performing a wonderful tribute to George Michael with our very own King of Karaoke - #CrisisXmas guest Kevin!"

In the one-minute clip, Martin is seen playing guitar and singing along with a guest named Kevin, who takes the lead vocals.

Another attendee named Matthew shared on Instagram a photo with Martin. "That moment when Coldplay's Chris Martin drops into the Crisis at Christmas shelter, with no fuss, no fanfare and no press, to help make tea and coffee and also play guitar so guests can have a sing song," so he captioned it.

Martin isn't the only singer to honor Michael. On Wednesday, December 28, British singer Elton John delivered an emotional tribute to Michael during his Las Vegas show. The "Your Song" hitmaker opened the show with a performance of "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me".

In other George Michael-related news, the singer is believed to have stored three full albums of unreleased music in his private collection. The unreleased albums have working titles of "Trojan Souls", "Extended Plaything" and "White Light".

Fans might be disappointed after former Wham! bandmate Andrew Ridgeley said releasing the material would be inappropriate. He tweeted, "No, #GM controlled all his output. I, nor anyone else have the right to transgress that principle."

Following Michael's death, heartbroken boyfriend Fadi Fawaz posted a YouTube link to unreleased track titled "This Kind of Love", a song believed to be from "Trojan Souls". Work on the album apparently started back in the 1990s, and featured vocals from Stevie Wonder, Sade, Seal, Bryan Ferry and Janet Jackson.
