Mariah Carey will ring in 2017 with a live performance in Times Square, New York. The 46-year-old songbird will be the headliner for "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest" 2017. She is set to perform for more than 1 million people before the ball drops to mark the new year.
In a press release, Mimi said, "I am so excited to return to 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest' and feel blessed to be a part of this year's magical celebration." She added, "I can't wait to perform once again for my incredible fans as we ring in the New Year together live from Times Square."
Other stars set to hit the stage include Joe Jonas' band DNCE, country star Thomas Rhett and Gloria Estefan along with the cast of her Broadway musical "On Your Feet!". Niall Horan is also set to perform on the Billboard Hollywood Party, which is a segment of the annual show.
Ryan Seacrest will once again host the five-and-a-half-hour show. He will be joined by Jenny McCarthy, who will report live from Times Square, and Fergie a.k.a. Stacy Ferguson, who will return to host the Billboard Hollywood Party from Los Angeles.
This year's telecast will be broadcast live at 8 P.M. ET on Saturday, December 31 on ABC.
