Lil Wayne Denies Seizure Rumors After Skipping SummerFall Concert
Music

The 'Sucker for Pain' hitmaker backed out of his set at the SummerFall concert in Curacao on Saturday, November 26.

Lil Wayne canceled his headlining performance at the SummerFall concert in Curacao on Saturday, November 26. The "Sucker for Pain" hitmaker was supposed to have joined acts like Rick Ross, Meek Mill, French Montana, Fat Joe, Jeremih, and Yo Gotti.

While a reason for Weezy's set cancellation has not been confirmed, a report began circulating that Curacao Color Events, the promoters behind the show, were told the rapper suffered a seizure in Miami on Friday night.

Weezy's camp have reportedly denied any occurrence of a seizure. The "Mirror" rapper's reps allegedly told TMZ that he backed out of his SummerFall set due to "a breach of contract."

The promoters later debunked claim about the contractual issue in a post shared on Facebook. "Contrary to recent reports, Color Events met all contractual obligations for Lil Wayne to perform at the SummerFall concert tonight," they said, "We are still investigating the reason for the last-minute cancellation and have nothing further to comment on except that although we are disappointed Lil Wayne will not be performing, we excited about the lineup of artists who will be performing tonight."

A rep for Weezy hasn't responded to a request for comment.

Meek shared some photos from the Saturday concert. He was accompanied by his girlfriend Nicki Minaj.
