The revival project is expected to reunite the original stars like Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes.

AceShowbiz - A "Will & Grace" revival is in development. NBC is reportedly in early talks to revive the Emmy-winning sitcom for one new season. Although returning to the original home at the Peacock is a possibility, the revamped project is also opening the doors for streaming service.

The sitcom hopes to bring back the original stars like Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes in a ten-episode installment. Creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan are also in negotiations to return for the revival.

The "Will & Grace" revival comes a month after the cast reunited in a mini episode on YouTube. "The response has been very overwhelming and really, really heartwarming," Messing told PEOPLE back then. When asked about a possible full-pledged TV reunion, McCormack responded, "We'd all be interested to get that call, I think."

The project will join many other TV revivals like "Fuller House", "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" and "Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later".
