The singer who is dating former 'X-Factor' judge Cheryl is getting ready for his solo music debut after landing a major record deal.

AceShowbiz - Liam Payne is close to releasing his solo music. The One Direction member has officially found a home for his album at Republic Records, not Capitol like it was previously rumored. The 23-year-old British singer is expected to release a new song sometime soon.
"Being a member of the most successful group of the last decade, Liam has a tremendous opportunity to make an even greater impact on pop culture. We're honored by Liam's decision to join Republic Records, and have extremely high expectations for his solo career," said Republic Records co-founder and CEO Monte Lipman.
Liam Payne follows bandmate Niall Horan who has just dropped a solo single through Capitol Records. Harry Styles has also signed a solo deal with Columbia Records, but he is currently busy with his movie career. He will make his debut on the big screen in Christopher Nolan's World War II movie "Dunkirk".
Meanwhile, another bandmate Louis Tomlinson is reportedly mentoring a girlband while ex-1D member Zayn Malik has released his solo album through RCA Records.
