Zayn Malik is the only One Directioner who didn't congratulate Niall Horan after the latter dropped his first ever solo single called "This Town". The other bandmates like Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson have reached to Horan on social media to show their support.

"Ahhh, a lovely tune my friend. Congratulations. H," Styles tweeted. Payne posted a similar note on his own Twitter, "Good luck boss give him all your support huge day for him proud of you boss." Tomlinson also wrote, "Feeling super proud @NiallOfficial . You sound great ! Great to see you at your bday bash!!"

In an interview with NME back in March, Zayn Malik admitted that he was not on speaking terms with his former bandmates after he left the group in 2015. "I tried to have contact but nobody's reached out. So... whatever," he claimed.

"I'm still probably the closest to Liam," he added. "We talk on the phone. He congratulated me on my single, which was nice. I congratulated him on his Brit Award [the group collected the British Video Award for 'Drag Me Down']. It was a good chat. We haven't met up in a long time so we want to meet up."
