The 37-year-old actor wants his 'Guardians' character to meet Netflix/Marvel's the Punisher, saying that it would be cool for him to meet the take-no-prisoner vigilante in the next Marvel films.

AceShowbiz - The joint forces between the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers in "Avengers: Infinity War" is apparently not enough for Chris Pratt. The 37-year-old actor hopes to see his character, Peter Quill, interacting with another Marvel's superhero in the next Marvel films.

While promoting his latest film "The Magnificent Seven", he was asked by We Got This Covered about which Marvel characters he would like to meet in the third "Avengers" film. "Oh, Gosh. I don't know. I'll have to leave to Marvel, releasing who's going to fight what," Pratt said. "I don't even know the right answer to that, because if I say the wrong thing, I'll get in trouble by Marvel and by the fans."

However, he later said that it would be awesome for Quill to meet Netflix/Marvel's the Punisher. "I would like Peter Quill to meet the Punisher," Pratt said. "He's not in the Avengers, but talking Marvel Cinematic Universe, I think it would be cool for Peter Quill, the Punisher was my favorite growing up, so I think it would be cool for me to meet him."

Before supporting "Infinity War", Star-Lord will appear in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" along with his fellow space superheroes who are portrayed by Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel. It is set for a May 5, 2017 release in U.S. theaters. As for the third "Avengers" movie which stars Robert Downey Jr. , Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Elizabeth Olsen, it is scheduled to be released on May 4, 2018.

Meanwhile, the Punisher, who is played by Jon Bernthal, made his debut in the season 2 of "Daredevil". The take-no-prisoner vigilante is getting his own Netflix TV series, but its first season won't likely be released until after "Marvel's The Defenders" comes out.
