Lionel Messi is the latest soccer player to go platinum blond, joining the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Marouane Fellaini and James Rodriguez. Fans of the 29-year-old FC Barcelona player are freaking out with his dramatic hair makeover.
It all started when Messi's girlfriend Antonella Roccuzzo shared on Instagram on Sunday, July 24 a photo of her beau's new look. Antonella later set her account to private, but she definitely couldn't stop it from spreading on the internet.

On Monday, Messi's teammate Luis Suarez posted a picture of them on the plane going to England, praising him for his new look. "Taking off to England. Going on with the preseason and my friend @leomessi with his new look," Luis wrote alongside the snap.
While some fans can't quite deal with the change, others really love it. Some people link the dramatic makeover with Messi's recent tax fraud issue.
