For someone who has just ended a romantic relationship, Zayn Malik doesn't look too heartbroken. Around the same time he's reported to have split from girlfriend Gigi Hadid, the former One Direction singer posted on Instagram a picture of him going shirtless.
The British star shows off his tattoos and muscles as he ditches his shirt in the black-and-white photo. He's also seen raising a glass while standing on what looks like a balcony with his back facing the camera.
Multiple sources claimed that Zayn and Gigi broke up after dating for seven months. Some pictures the pair recently shared hinted that their relationship was okay, but E! News said that "there has been some rough patches within the relationship for a bit now." They had reportedly "broken up and got back together a few times" prior to this and another source predicted that they could get back together again in the near future.
"It's very unclear what's going on between them now. They been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along," the source said. "Gigi is really sad about this, though, and in a way would like to work it out. It's more about that constant contact with Zayn that she misses and they did get very close."
