Shelton will be 'Honest' about his divorce from Miranda Lambert and his new relationship with Gwen Stefani on his new album.

AceShowbiz - It's now Blake Shelton's turn to be honest. After Gwen Stefani returned with "This Is What the Truth Feels Like", which was inspired by her divorce and new relationship, and Beyonce Knowles addressed her hubby Jay-Z's alleged infidelity on "Lemonade", the country superstar is telling his own love story on "If I'm Honest".

The album caps off the past 12 months of his life, during which he split from Miranda Lambert and moved on with Stefani. "I figure since everyone else is cashing in on my life, I might as well get some of that too," Shelton joked about the record in a chat with radio DJ Bobby Bones during a recent release party at the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles.

The 38-year-old singer then explained the title, saying that Stefani's "This Is What the Truth Feels Like" provided inspiration. "I just want to tell the truth about what happened," he said. "I had a similar [thought], 'What if I tell the truth?' So I was like, I can't use the word truth now so..."

"If I'm Honest" comes out on Friday, May 20. It will include previously-released lead single "Came Here to Forget" and a duet with Stefani called "Go Ahead and Break My Heart". In addition, there'll be a track titled "Bet You Still Think About Me", which Shelton has said is "basically what it sounds like."

"At some point - whether you go through a divorce or breakup or whatever - once you get past the anger and frustration of it all, you go to the sad part of it, where it's just like 'Gosh why didn't that work out?' " Shelton shared in the same interview with Bones. "It's kinda what that song is about. Like even though stuff didn't work out, I bet you miss me a little bit."
