AceShowbiz - Brie Larson is one step closer to walking down the aisle. The 26-year-old actress is set to tie the knot with her musician boyfriend Alex Greenwald. She showed off her engagement ring when making her debut as "Saturday Night Live" host over the weekend.
A source tells Us Weekly that 36-year-old Greenwald, the Phantom Planet frontman, proposed to her during a trip to Tokyo in March. Their engagement came after her big wins at the Oscars, SAG Awards and Golden Globe Awards for her role in the movie "Room".
Larson first publicly confirmed her relationship with Greenwald at the Gotham Independent Film Awards in 2013. "I'd like to thank my boyfriend, Alex Greenwald, for making me pasta and taking care of our puppy while I made this movie," she said during her acceptance speech.
When collecting her SAG trophy this year, she used the L-word when giving her beau a shout-out. "My wonderful boyfriend, Alex - I love you so much," she said. She professed her love again to him at the Academy Awards, thanking her "real partner, Alex Greenwald. I love you, the whole thing!"
