Lamar Odom Speaks in Public for the First Time to Support Kobe Bryant's Last Game


The 36-year-old athlete delivered a heartfelt message in a tribute video to support his former teammate who has just retired following tonight's NBA game.
Lamar Odom spoke publicly for the first time since his hospitalization on Wednesday night, April 13 to support his former teammate Kobe Bryant. Khloe Kardashian's estranged husband appeared in a sweet tribute video along with fellow players, teammates as well as coaches in honor of Bryant.

"Bean what's up, it's your little brother L.O.," Odom said in the clip, addressing the Los Angeles Lakers legend ahead of his final NBA game. "Just want to tell you I love you. You got a great career. I'm proud to say that I was right there with you, Kobe Bean."



Lakers superfan Jack Nicholson also delivered a heartfelt message to Bryant, who has just retired. "Kobe, goodbye. I think I may retire with ya. I'm not sure but it's been great watching you. and I hope you enjoyed it half as much as me and my family have," Nicholson said. "You have been an inspiration to us all and L.A. loves you."

On March 30, Odom attended his first NBA game since his hospitalization last year. According to sports reporters at the game, the 36-year-old athlete was "walking slow but looking strong" and "speaking well" at the time.
