Jenelle Evans' ex-fiance Nathan Griffith claims in court papers that she once attempted to end her life. According to Nathan, the "Teen Mom 2" star threatened to hurt herself after they broke up and proceeded to cut her wrists.

"That because of the separation of Plaintiff [Evans] and Defendant [Griffith], Plaintiff threatened self-harm and/or suicide and did, in fact, slice her wrists with a knife," Nathan claims in the papers, obtained by Radar Online. "That when Plaintiff sliced her wrists... Plaintiff was taken to a hospital in Horry County where her self-inflicted knife wounds were sutured to stop the profuse bleeding."

A source close to Jenelle, however, denies Nathan's allegations.

Jenelle started the legal war with Nathan when she filed for primary custody of son Kaiser in early March. In her suit, the 24-year-old reality star claimed her baby daddy "is not a fit and proper person to have custody," alleging he doesn't have "proper living arrangements" for their son, and accusing him of "abusing illegal substances including steroids."

Nathan continues to seek sole custody of Kaiser, but he will allow visitation for Jenelle.
