Earlier this week, Jennifer Lopez joined James Corden for the latest edition of his "Carpool Karaoke". While making their way to CBS Studio, the duo did a bunch of stuff together, including singing her hits and sending a hilarious text to one of the famous people on the diva's contact list, Leonardo DiCaprio.
You can now stop wondering about how the Oscar-winning actor reacted to the prank. Lopez has reached out to the 41-year-old star to explain the whole thing, and he fortunately didn't seem to have any problem with it.
"I did have to explain it to him," the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" hitmaker told reporters following the Thursday night, March 31 episode of "American Idol", as quoted by Entertainment Tonight. "He was a great sport about it ... I was like, 'So hey, this is what had happened! I was with James Corden.' "
She went on admitting that she hadn't spoken to DiCaprio after the fan-favorite "Late Late Show" segment aired on Tuesday, but she said he didn't really care about the joke the last time they talked. "He's great. He's a friend and it was nice," she added. "He was totally like, 'Do whatever you want, I don't care.' I don't know if he'd say that today!"
The "Carpool Karaoke" featuring Lopez was aired as part of "The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special". At one point during their trip around Los Angeles, Corden found out that the Bronx songbird had so many A-listers on her contacts, including Demi Lovato, Bradley Cooper, Iggy Azalea and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The comedian took J.Lo's phone and said in a text to DiCaprio that she needed to "cut loose." The duo laughed hard when the actor replied, "You mean tonight, Boo Boo? Club-wise?" She ended up deciding not to take the offer. "I was home cooking like I said - with my kids and my boyfriend," she told reporters.
