AceShowbiz - Kehlani was reportedly placed on psychiatric hold in Los Angeles. According to a scoop from TMZ, the 20-year-old R&B singer was treated in a hospital for mental evaluation after she attempted to end her own life amid cheating rumors which she vehemently denied.
Law enforcement was called to Kehlani's house in Hollywood on Monday, March 28 as she allegedly posed a threat to herself. The suicide attempt came after the "America's Got Talent" alum was accused of cheating on her boyfriend, NBA star Kyrie Irving.
Kehlani later posted a picture from hospital, thanking PARTYNEXTDOOR, the man with whom she allegedly had an affair, for saving her life. She's grateful to be alive as she added, "God saved me for a reason." She cleaned out her Instagram shortly afterwards, deleting all pictures without any explanation.
Neither she nor her camp issued a statement, but sources close to her claimed, "She's doing much better."
