Jenelle Evans is set to battle her ex Nathan Griffith in court over custody of their son Kaiser. According to Radar Online, the "Teen Mom 2" star will finally get her day in court just within a week. This will be the first time for the exes to meet after months of separation.

"Jenelle has a court date on Monday for Kaiser's custody arrangements," a source told the site. According to the source, the court date is to set up as a method of arbitration so that Jenelle and Nathan can work on coming to a custody agreement.

"It's a mediation orientation on Monday," added the source, "They explain to you how and where Jenelle and Nathan would negotiate on terms of custody."

Other than the custody battle, Jenelle is currently in the midst of criminal legal proceeds to fight against battery and assault charges stemming from her August 2015 arrest against Nathan's girlfriend, Jessica Henry. However, in order to keep the custody proceedings civil, a mediator will reportedly oversee their negations.

"For mediation, it would be Jenelle and Nathan in a room with a legal authority overseeing their talks," the source explained.

Jenelle also reportedly plans to take Nathan to court next month in an attempt to get her baby daddy to pay her child support. A source said that Jenelle felt like Nathan should pay the child support because he's still receiving hefty checks from the government for his past military service.

"She thinks he owes her something," the source claimed. "He was getting over $3,000 a month in 2014. It's called 'compensation' for being 'disabled' as a result of his deployment."
