Music

Co-written and co-produced by the rapper, the song is the latest offering from Sia's 'This Is Acting' album, which is due out on January 29.

AceShowbiz - Here's the full version of Sia Furler's "Reaper". As previously reported, the song was co-written and co-produced by Kanye West originally for Rihanna's highly-anticipated "Anti" album. It will now end up on the Aussie singer's own new record "This Is Acting".

On the track, which hit the web via her Vevo channel on Thursday, January 7, Sia sings about not wanting to die too soon. "You came to take me away/ So close I was to heaven's gates/ But no baby, no baby, not today/ Oh, you tried to track me down/ You followed me like the darkest cloud/ But no baby, no baby, not today," she sings and then tells the reaper to "come back when I'm good to go."

This isn't Sia's first time to have collaborated with Kanye. She previously joined the rapper and Vic Mensa on "Wolves" that was debuted while 'Ye' was unveiling the Yeezy 750 Boost at an event almost a year ago.

"This Is Acting" is coming out on January 29, featuring songs which Sia initially crafted for but were rejected by the likes of RiRi and Adele . "Most of the songs, if not all of them, I wrote for other people, and they were rejected," Sia explained her new project's title. "And so they are generally are songs that are not from my perspective, and so it feels like acting."
