AceShowbiz - Carrie Fisher took to Twitter on Tuesday, December 29 to fire back at body shamers who criticized her appearance in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". "Please stop debating about whetherOR not aged well," she wrote, "Unfortunately it hurts all3 of my feelings. My BODY hasnt aged as well as I have. Blow us."
Carrie retweeted a fan's posting which read, "@IzzoKendall @carrieffisher Men don't age better than women, they're just allowed to age." Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford got an easier ride as they were not criticized because of their looks in the latest installment of "Star Wars" movie series.
The Princess Leia depicter then posted a picture of her dog along with caption, "My body is my brain bag, it hauls me around to those places & in front of faces where theres something to say or see." She added, "Before &Rite B4that Gary gets socked in generally& not that specifically. The Wired WorldsStocking Stuffer2 theStars."

@carrieffisher So you want the money & adulation that comes with being a famous actor but not the criticism. Whoever told you life was fair?

Earlier this month, Carrie told Good Housekeeping U.K. that she felt pressured to lose weight for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". According to the actress, she wouldn't have been hired if she did not lose weight. "They don't want to hire all of me - only about three-quarters!" she shared.
"Nothing changes, it's an appearance-driven thing. I'm in a business where the only thing that matters is weight and appearance. That is so messed up. They might as well say get younger, because that's how easy it is," she continued, "I did it the same way everybody has to - don't eat and exercise more! There is no other way to do it. I have a harder time eating properly than I do exercising. It's easier for me to add an activity than to deny myself something."
"When I do lose the weight I don't like that it makes me feel good about myself. It's not who I am. My problem is they talk to me like an actress but I hear them like a writer," she added.
