Ryan Phillippe is engaged to his girlfriend Paulina Slagter after four years of dating. Page Six which first broke the news reported that the "Catch Hell" actor proposed to Paulina over the holidays.
A rep for Ryan hasn't commented on the report yet. Both the actor and his new fiancee were spotted having lunch together at Seaspice in Miami on Monday, December 28. Later this week, he will reportedly make appearance at the exclusive Five Star New Year's Eve party on Watson Island.
The engagement report came just months after the hunky actor told Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show that he's open to another marriage after his divorce from Reese Witherspoon. "I'm not opposed to [getting married again]," Ryan said in April.
During the interview, Ryan couldn't stop gushing over his girlfriend. "She's awesome. When people see her they have these judgments because she could be a model but she's about to graduate Stanford Law," said the actor. "Also what's great about it - as you get older certain issues become more important to you. I'm very involved in civil rights issues, and so to be with a woman who could actually make an impact in the legal realm - that's a beautiful thing."
