AceShowbiz - While the body of Kristin Cavallari's brother Michael Cavallari is currently being examined at Utah Medical Examiner's Office, some speculations of what caused his death have emerged. Grand County Sheriff Steven White told Access Hollywood that hypothermia might have been a contributing factor in Michael's death.

Steven said that the temperatures in the area were as low as "teens at night." Nevertheless, the police officer couldn't determine the final cause of Michael's death. "As for the final cause of death, I can't say until I get the autopsy results back. I'm not a doctor," he said.

While some people speculated that Michael might commit suicide, law enforcement sources set the record straight. "There were no signs of major trauma and no suicide note," officials told E! News. "Cops did not find any evidence of drugs or alcohol either." As of now, The Utah Medical Examiner's Office in Salt Lake City is in possession of Michael's body. The toxicology results are expected to be revealed in 6-8 weeks.

Michael was found dead two weeks after his car was found abandoned off a highway. Following the heartbreaking news, his sister Kristin wrote on Instagram, "Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh. You had such a good heart and will be forever missed. I'm at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP."
