While Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik look great together, do her friends approve of their relationship? According to E! News, some of the Victoria's Secret Angel's pals don't like her relationship with Perrie Edwards' ex-fiance.

"Her friends do not quite understand what the attraction is," a source told the news outlet. Gigi's pals thought that their romance was kind of strange given that Zayn isn't her usual type. "He is not her usual type, he doesn't share her sense of humor or ease with people [and] he's a little more self-aware and awkward," the source continued.

As Gigi's ex-boyfriends included Cody Simpson and Joe Jonas, her pals were puzzled as to why she'd date someone who doesn't share the same Hollywood clique with her. Despite the disapproval, an insider noted that Gigi "could date anyone she wants."

Most recently, the new couple got a virtual slap from Gigi's ex-boyfriend Joe. The DNCE singer surprisingly unfollowed them on Twitter. In addition to preventing himself from seeing pictures of Gigi and her new man popping up on his timeline, Joe deleted a photo of him with Zayn and Kanye West when they were at a Valentino runway show back in June.

In response to Joe's social media move, Zayn posted on Instagram a selfie which appeared to be taunting Joe by showing a frown of disapproval. Meanwhile, Gigi posted a cryptic message on Twitter which read, "There's just no need to be judgmental about situations that are not your own. Let live." For unknown reason, she soon removed the tweet. Later on, the 20-year-old model tweeted, "I should've brought Thanksgiving leftovers in my suitcase."
