Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson might have played a bad guy in many movies, but he is a hero in real life after all. The westler-turned-actor saved the lives of two French Bulldog puppies which were about to drown in his swimming pool.
He posted a photo on Instagram on Monday, September 7, which captures himself holding the two puppies in his left and right hands. He shared the chronology of the tragedy through the caption of the photo.
It turned out that he just adopted the two puppies, Brutus and Hobbs. When he got home, he took the puppies outside so that they could "handle their business and potty like big boys." Unfortunately, the puppies became uncontrollable and suddenly fell into the swimming pool in Johnson's home. One of them automatically used its instinc to doggie paddle while another one just sank like a brick. Johnson quickly jumped into the swimming pool and saved the puppies without realizing that his cell phone was still in his pocket.
It seems like Johnson is a truly animal lover and rescuer as he didn't hesitate to jump in the pool and rescue his pets although it cost him a cell phone. He kept reminding any dog owner to take their cell phone out of their pocket first if one day they have to save a dog from drowning in a pool.
Ever since he uploaded the photo, hundreds of fans were impressed with his action. One fan even gave a suggestion to bring the puppies to a vet, "I would have them checked out by a vet just in case. You don't want them to get aspiration pneumonia. Better safe then sorry."
