AceShowbiz - Rihanna is coming to "The Voice". The Bajan songstress is officially tapped as a key advisor for the upcoming ninth season. She follows in the footsteps of the likes of Taylor Swift, Fun.'s Nate Ruess, and Coldplay's Chris Martin who took the role in the past three season.
"We landed Rihanna to be the key advisor to all the coaches this fall," NBC Chairman Bob Greenblatt announced at the Television Critics' Association press tour in Beverly Hills, California. "This is one of music's true supervisors coming on board to influence the lives and careers of the performers."
The new season is scheduled to premiere on September 21. Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams will return with longtime judges/coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. Brad Paisley will mentor Team Blake and Creedence Clearwater Revival's John Fogerty will help Levine. As a key advisor, RiRi will give advice to all teams.
