"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" adds Colin Farrell to its cast ensemble. The Hollywood Reporter learns that the "Winter's Tale" actor has been cast to play Graves, a wizard that Eddie Redmayne's Newt Scamander meets in New York.
Farrell and Redmayne join Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Alison Sudol, and Dan Fogler. Inspired by Hogwarts textbook of the same name, the film is for November 18, 2016. David Yates sits behind the lens and J.K. Rowling writes the screenplay.
Colin Farrell recently starred opposite Jessica Chastain in "Miss Julie". His newer movie "The Lobster" will be screened at Toronto International Film Festival in September. He has also shot "Solace" with Anthony Hopkins. On the small screen, he plays a lead role in the second season of "True Detective" along with Taylor Kitsch and Rachel McAdams.
