AceShowbiz - Claire Holt is taking her relationship with boyfriend Matt Kaplan to the next level. "The Originals" actress proudly shows off her new ring on Instagram after her longtime beau popped the big question. "Yes," so she simply says in the caption.
The engagement came roughly three months after she announced her decision to quit her leading role on The CW's series. She said to BuzzFeed of her decision to spend more time with family and loved ones, "I made a life choice, not a career choice."
Holt, 27, has since returned to "The Vampire Diaries" spinoff on a recurring role. She is also one of the main cast members on another TV show, "Aquarius". She credited her boyfriend of helping her disguise her Aussie accent for her part as a police officer on the NBC period crime drama series.
