Brody Jenner got candid about his relationship with the Kardashians in an interview with Yahoo Style on Tuesday, July 7. The "Sex With Brody" star revealed that he and his Kardashian sisters including Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and his stepbrother Rob Kardashian were not close even before his father Caitlyn Jenner got divorced from his stepmother Kris Jenner.

"I don't see them very often," Brody told Joe Zee about his Kardashian siblings. "I live out in Malibu, they live in Calabasas." Though so, Brody said he still felt a special family bond with Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner, calling himself "a proud older brother."

"Growing up, we had two completely separate lives," Brody went on. "To be honest, I don't even really know Kanye that well at all. I've really only met him one time." He admitted he didn't present North West with any gifts when she was born and didn't even know that Kim and Kanye West are expecting a baby boy.

"That's the one thing that people don't really understand is that we live two completely separate lives. And everybody ties us in together as the Kardashians and the Jenners," Brody continued. "I mean, [Kris and Caitlyn] got a divorce, so they're not even technically my family anymore."

In another interview with SiriusXM's Sway Calloway for his "Sway in the Morning" show, Brody frankly addressed his relationship with Kris. "Kris and I... honestly, we never talk," he said. "There's just been a lot of family drama that doesn't even involve me. It involves my parents, it involves the divorce that happened way back then."

Brody noted that he liked Kris and called her "a very smart woman," but said she became a good mother only "to her children." He added, "We grew up in a completely different household. Kris is the Kardashian's mother, and I have a wonderful mother, Linda Thompson, who I love, and I'll keep it at that."
