'Man, you know, I don't plan relationships. They just happen,' Sean opened up about his split with Grande, adding, 'It's no mistakes in life, though, only lessons.'

AceShowbiz - Big Sean opened up about his love life and breakup with Ariana Grande. Speaking to ET Online at the 2015 BET Award on Sunday, June 28, the "Paradise" rapper seemed to have coped with his heartbreak and said the relationship gave him "lessons."

"Man, you know, I don't plan relationships. They just happen," the 27-year-old rapper said on the red carpet. "That's all it is. I'm just... I'm just living it. It's no, it's no God, it's no script. You know, we just out here doing what we doin'. Feelin' it out."

However, he admitted he learned many things from the romance, saying no relationship is pointless. "It's no mistakes in life, though - only lessons," Sean added.

Sean and Grande started dating in October. They appeared as a couple for the first time at the 2015 Grammy Awards in February before calling it quits in April. During an interview with GQ earlier this year, Sean revealed he was attracted to Grande because she she was "a woman with her own drive and own goals." he added, "It's never about egos. It's just about what we share - that focus. When you have someone that understands what you've got going on, it's awesome."

Prior to Grande, Sean got engaged to "Glee" star Naya Rivera. However in April 2014, the couple split and ended their engagement.
