Ezra Miller is eyed to star in upcoming "Harry Potter" spin-off "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. According to Variety, the star of upcoming "The Flash" movie is in early talks for the role of Kredan while The Hollywood Reporter reports he is in early negotiations to play Jacob.

Kredan is "a person with magical powers who encounters magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) when he stops in New York City on his travels to find and document magical creatures," while Jacob is "a rival of Scamander." Warner Bros. had no comment on the casting reports.

Katherine Waterston is already on board for the role of American witch named Porpentina who is the wife of Newt.

Sources tell Variety that Alison Sudol is David Yates' choice for the role of Porpentina's younger sister Queenie but no actor has been cast and no offer has been made for the role. The sources add that Josh Gad and Michael Cera will meet execs next week to see who will take the role of Jacob.

David and J.K. Rowling are teaming up with David Heyman, Steve Klove and Lionel Wigram, who all have worked on "Harry Potter" movies, to executive produce the upcoming spin-off. It is scheduled to be released in 3D and IMAX theaters in the U.S. on November 18, 2016.
